Blog: When did that contraction start bothering you so much?

No, not the preegnancy type of contraction.

Blog.

As in, web + log = blog.

Ugh.

Maybe the problem is it sounds too much like a noise I make while hovering over the porcelain bowl.

Yak. Not the biggy furry kind.

Or maybe it's the connotation that I simply don't care for.

Whatever my subconscious's objection, I have never cared for the term. So this is definitely not another blog. When I figure out what it is, I will let someone know.
